| Kevin was born and raised on Cape Cod and returned to
the East Coast in 2004 after years of working out of his
self-established glass art studio in Western Montana. He
has studied under a number of world famous glassblowers
at renowned institutions such as The Studio at the
Corning Museum of Glass and The Pittsburgh Glass Center.
His art is very reflective of the experience he gained
at Corning, learning techniques in flame-working
vessels. Kevin feels he is most influenced by the time he spent
studying under Cesare Toffolo, a third generation
Muranese glassblower who is considered to be one of the
world's finest technical flame-workers. Kevin's variety
of education and his own natural creative flair have
developed into a distinctive style that is all his own.
He has been focusing on encasing life-like flowers and
creating abstract shapes with many of his pieces, as
well as using unique designs and color combinations. He
hopes to continue to grow as an artist through extensive
experimentation, education, and exposure. |
